CALLAHAN AWARD
The Callahan Award is voted on by the entire college ultimate community and is given to the player who most exemplifies the sport. From the Callahan website, the award "has been established to recognize the most valuable players in college ultimate. Each year a trophy is presented to the top player in the men's and woman's division who, in the eyes of his or her peers combine superior athleticism with outstanding sportsmanship, leadership and dedication to the sport of ultimate."
The voting for the Callahan happens after Regionals and the winner and runner-ups are announced at the Saturday night party of the UPA College Championships.
