| Yale has represented the region six times in the last ten years, going to the UPA College Championships in 1995-1999 and 2002. After making it to the semis of the frontdoor bracket, the team finished 6th at 2005 Regionals.
This season, the team should be even stronger that last year. Yale only graduated five players from its roster and gained some club experience for a few of its top players. Keri Dorko and Steffi Wu both played at the club mixed championships with Six Trained Monkeys and Mischief, respectively. Both leaders also benefit from the coaching of Holly Stephens and Kendra Frederick. Stephens returns for the second year as the coach and should be able to build off of the system she now has in place. Attending Terminus and College Southerns outside of the region, Yale should prove itself as a contender in the NE this year. |
