Last year, the Humboldt Hags finished third in its section and 9th in the Region. Check out this year's results on the Score Reporter site.
Liv Wheeler lead the team last year at the limited tournaments the Hags attended (the women only played 6 games outside of the UPA Series). Nonetheless, if the team didn't graduate many of its players, the Hags should be able to improve on their finish from 2004. This fall, the team was playing savage and made it to the finals of C.H.U.G. by beating Oregon in the semis. The team also made the quarterfinals of Sean Ryan. During the college season, the first tournament the Humboldt Hags will compete at is the Stanford Invitational Qualifier where the team will be vying for one of last spots at the Stanford Invite later in the season.
Tournament Updates:

Humboldt State came in second over PLU at the Stanford Invite Qualifier, qualifying for a bid to the Stanford Invite
At the Stanford Invite, the team went 0-5 and lost to UC-Davis in pre-quarters
